Obama responds: 'Downright perverse'

Obama responds: 'Downright perverse'

Obama's camp hits back hard at a new McCain ad criticizing his support, in the Illinois State Legislature, for sex ed beginning in kindergarten:

“It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls – a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds. Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn’t define what honor was. Now we know why,” says Obama spokesman Bill Burton in an emailed statement.

Ok, I say Greedy Old Perverts, but Oily works too. Especially now that we've seen their new generation.

19. John McCain was a POW that does not make him honorable
John McCain a Senator which represents 4-Military bases within Arizona, the largest being Fort Huachuca, Command for Military Intelligence and the numerous National Guard/Reserve Units throughout the State of Arizona, has "2," Senators, which fail to represent and support the military and the thousands of veterans which live and work within Arizona.

John McCain flaunts his POW status, as though he deserves and has earned POTUS simply because he was a POW. He has voted against all and any support for our military and our veterans........John McCain got his and the hell with his comrades. Gen Clark was right on, and if they actually count the military/Expat votes of those serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and throughout the world, he has lost their support.....this comes from a military grandson serving in Iraq, his cousin serving in Afghanistan and civilian family members working and living in Europe. I have recently been told that Obama now has an office in Bucharest for Expats and the military serving there.

5. It gets better!
Read this HuffPo piece:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/09/mccain-ad-cites-articles_n_125218.html

John McCain's attack ad released Tuesday evening is perhaps the most outlandish yet this election cycle -- not simply because the spot claims that Obama lacks any substantive record on education policy (he actually can claim several achievements on that front), and not because McCain charges that Obama's lone feat is "comprehensive sex education" for kindergartners (a hysterical description of efforts aimed at protecting children from predators).

What sets this ad apart is that every article save one that the McCain camp cites as being critical of Obama's education policies either has far more derogatory things to say about McCain himself or goes on to praise the Illinois Democrat.

highlight how far afield his campaign has gone McCain's ads rarely address issues now just more ominous distraction. Can America afford more of that. If they are protecting people from terror why do they encourage it with sinister false allegations.

18. How much are they even spending on this disgusting ad?
I mean, not that sex isn't mentioned all of the time on tv, but I could see some little kid seeing "sex" and "kindergarten" in the same sentence in a commercial , and getting curious. What sick bastards those repugs are.
