Palin is Brunhilda from Wagner's Opera The Ring Cycle
The Warrior Daughter of Wotan who leads the Valkyries, female soldiers. Riding to the rescue of Siegfried singing Hoya Tahoe!, Hoya Tahoe!.

The only problem is Siegfried is now old and crusty and incapable. Outdated. It is the final act, the Twilight of the Gods, Gotterdamerung, the last stand of white supremacy.

Rent the opera. It will trip you out.

1. I can only think of Elmer Fudd dressed as a Valkyrie,
singing "Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!"

7. Hi there Solomon.
I love the opera trilogy and I really love Wagner's music even though he was a racist old prick. However, I find Brunhilde more a victim because she refused to obey her father Wotan and was punished for it, although the sequence of events did bring Gotterdamerung, or their version of The Rapture. How funny that this scenario has been around for a long time. I somewhat find Brunhilde noble though. I can't say this about Mooselini.

10. Don't worry, Palin is a loose cannon and will be punished.
She's a victim simply because they need her to be a loose cannon. Wotan can't do what he wants to do because he has to honor bargains, so he needs Brunhilda to do what he can't do, but she gets punished anyway.

I have the same problem with Wagner. I absolutely love the music, but he was a supreme white supremacist.

The best part though, is it all went down in flames, and that's what's going to happen to the McCain campaign.

8. No...
Pailin is a piece of shit liar that looks into the camera lens and fabricates large portions of her history.

One wonders what her children, husband, and god must think of her unabashed lies.

9. I always thought Brunhilda rocks.
Of course I'm most familiar with her as portrayed by Kristanna Loken in The Ring of the Nibelungs on SciFi a few years ago. Great mini-series!

11. right composer; wrong opera
The proper analogy is Das Rheingold. Palin is Alberich, the crippled dimwit dwarf, and McCain is Loge, the evil, twisted god.

I guess that would make Obama our Wotan, the wise and powerful ruler!
