HELENA - Observers say Ron Paul's presence on the Montana ballot under the Constitution Party banner could cause problems for GOP nominee John McCain.

Democrat Barack Obama is making a serious bid for Montana and its three electoral votes, hoping to become the first Democrat to carry the state since Bill Clinton in 1992.

David Hart was Ron Paul's campaign coordinator in Montana during the primary. He says Paul agreed to be on the ballot, but did not seek it. The national Constitution Party candidate is Chuck Baldwin. Hart says Paul could be the difference between McCain winning or losing Montana.
