LOL! Huckleberry didn't take Hannity's bait on the "lipstick on a pig" dust up.
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 08:11 PM by jefferson_dem
Just now.

Hannity is hyperventilating, showed the clip. Huckleberry responded that it's a very old expression and "I don't think he was talking about Palin."

EDIT: The funny thing is, every time they show the clip, they are giving voice to Obama's talking point that McSame is "more of the same". Classic!

3. I just saw that.
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 08:49 PM by goodgd_yall
I saw the clip just before it too and I had to laugh that it was causing an uproar. Somehow I had the impression from a post that I quickly read that Obama was discussing Palin, but I realized watching the clip that he was talking about McCain, and then not really about McCain the person, but his policies.

I'm glad Huckster didn't encourage Hannity.

the only thing that's going to hurt Obama in the polls is trying to convince people like you what's really happening in the world.

BTW, this is a smart board, we all know what Obama was talking about. Maybe you could find an adult to explain to you what he was actually saying.

I realize folks like Hannity, Limpballs, and you have problems with comprehension so I won't be to tough on you.

If you ever listen to him speak, he has some comedy bones in his body. A while back when he appeared as a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher he even had the audience laughing their asses off. I wouldn't vote for Mike, but he doesn't really give a damn about the established base of the GOP.

Days on end of Sarah the Pork Barrel Queen of Alaska being exposed as a liar and fraud on teevee, and she's such a know-nothing lightweight that they still have her repeating the same tired speech on the trail, a cringe-inducing spectacle. Note to Republican morons: that's the thing about zingers: they lose their effectiveness after the first few times you repeat them. Palin is like everybody's lame aunt repeating a joke she's been telling at Thanksgiving since 1986.

there you a go a progressive belief...which is actually a conservative one since the government shouldn't interfere in your personal choices when you aren't harming others. not to mention it would get rid of a lot of crime if you let corporations sell drugs

but what exactly does progressive mean...it means progress..what kind of progress is involved in re-distribution of wealth when it has actually created less jobs and raised unemployment not to mention infringe on personal freedoms...

65. Re: Edit
I know! It was obvious what Obama was saying and what the pig with lipstick meant and here Hannity was trying to make it look like Obama was insulting someone (Palin, I guess). You'd think they'd manipulate the clip or something to try to make their point.
