Disregarding the polls, I think this race is tied
or a slight lead either way. Just a feeling I have. I think both bounces have settled down a little.

I think Obama still has a great chance.

1. I think we are seeing a 50/50 good v. evil fight shaping up here
I dont need to tell you what side we're on.

I also think we have a slight lead.

2. Obama's got a better-than-great chance:
Of all the tossup states -- Virginia, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada and maybe Florida -- McCain needs to win all of them to win the presidency, except maybe Nevada. Obama needs to win just one.

3. I think things will change beginning this week.
Late this week. Obama will regain his lead.

4. Hi, terrya!
Our feelings can be just as good as the polls. :hi:

6. I think it's going to settle back to a modest Obama lead
but a lot of the noise will have shaken out. If he's got 3 points in the polls 10 days from now and his EC breakdown holds I think he's in good shape.

8. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
Everyone should assume that if this race is close - AT ALL - that the scumbags will just CHEAT AGAIN like they always do.
This race - CANNOT - be close, or we are all sunk.

9. The "reality" seems to be Obama IS doing better
Only one poll today shows him trailing by a significant margin.

10. Based on the reality I see described by the numbers, the analysis
and the educated guesses of folks who've been around this block a few times I think things are doing OK. Not great, I'd love to see the EC projection in the 320 to 340 range, but I'll take 310 plus if we can get it and hold it.
