If you're trying to win an election against a bunch of crooks, then

you have to fight fire with fire. There's no choice. I know Obama/Biden would rather take the high road, that's all well and good, but it ain't gonna win this election. With the worst 8 years in this nation's history, the same crooks are gonna lie, cheat and steal their way through this election. I hope Obama puts his soft talk away and pulls out a stick big enough to beat these crooks back and take our country in a new direction. If he doesn't all is lost, imho. Your comments please.

3. Totally agree. But I fear that his weakness/naivete that first surfaced in his appealing

to pukes and indies has crippled him in terms of tactics.

The thugs and media will crucify him if he fights back, calling him a liar for abandoning his "high road" that they have ridiculed all along.

It is not a war between equally-matched enemies. They have the media and the money as well as a killer mentality that succeeds more often than it fails in politics. Our side has truth but an unwillingness to use any and all weapons.

I have to also believe it is the "young and new" Obamaites who cling most to the high road. They have not been fighting the right for forty years like I have. Back when I was 20, many of us thought we would "change the world" and bring about an American utopia. We learned the reality that good intentions and actions do not guarantee success.

In the real world of politics, taking a (rubber) knife to a gun battle is worse than suicide. It is a betrayal of everything you say you want to change and disloyal to those who are willing to do whatever is necessary.

We cannot afford to be that stupid any longer.

...Then we have to reveal how Sarah Palin approved the 26-40 BILLION dollar Alaskan gas pipeline on August 27,2008 (the Wednesday prior to the GOP announcing her as thier VP pick). ...That pipeline has been staled for thirty years.

Whether people are for or against drilling here in America, there's no denying that Palin is Big Oil's new best friend.
