Help Karl Rove Help John McCain win the White House...
Just keep talking about Sarah Pailin - the republicans LOVE this shit - that's why they gave her the nod. Its fits Karl's playbook perfectly. One of his favorite strategies is DIVERSION and that's exactly what Gov. Gimmick is. If we are going to win this thing, we need to hammer home the issues. The only reason to mention her name, in my opinion, is ti tie her to George Bush and the extremest republican platform.

Its about the War

Its about the Economy

Its about the Environment

Its about Health Care

Its about Energy Independence

Its about four more years of the last eight years.

Spread the word, write a letter to your local papers opinion page, knock on doors, make phone calls.

This election is in our hands lets go win this thing.

1. Rove himself advised Dems against attacking Palin. I saw it on Fox.
Must be some type of double secret psychology...

7. Agreed-for 2 reasons:
1.)She has overshadowed McSame and more or less become the "spokesmodel" (stealth Presidential candidate?) for the campaign. McSame actually seems to have become an afterthought immediately after he announced his selection of her to be his VP pick. People are paying attention to the McSame campaign now ONLY because of her. We can't let McSame or anybody else on the GOP side control the debate or simply ignore what she says just because she's only the VP pick. Despite her ugly and mean-spirited demeanor (which the repukes don't care about of course) she is a fresh faced, reasonably attractive person and the GOP fundie base simply ADORE her because she is "one of them" and, like it or not, she has become the "face" of the campaign and her credibility and image are what matters the most now in terms of McSame's previously ailing campaign.

2.)In this election, more than any in recent history AFAIK there is the real possibility, given McSame's age and health, that he might not even be able to serve out a single term as POTUS so Palin would need to be able to assume the Presidency and she isn't even ready to handle a press interview or an unscripted speech so I have (and everybody else should have) grave doubts about her ability to be the real "commander-in-chief" of our military/foreign policy. This isn't "My Fair Lady" or an entry-level job at McDonalds and Lieberman and McSame's handlers might be able to cram a few nuggets of information into her head but such an obvious lack of knowledge about foreign affairs, etc. and NATIONAL experience for such an important NATIONAL job shouldn't be acceptable for anybody with even half a brain and we need to not only point this out but question McSame's judgment in selecting her from among other more experienced politicians (I'm not complaining by the way).

8. Actions in office - yes, lies about her record - fine
But how many posts here are about her "lifestyle" choices? Her church, her love of hunting, her oddball family issues - all this stuff may cut us the wrong way but believe it or not most of this shit sits just fine with middle America - these things make her human to many folks. Don't believe me? Just turn on the fucking TV and see how the MSM edits the existing video tape from a variety of sources together to show her as a breath of fresh air in a stale old political scene. Don't believe me? Well answer me this - Why the fuck does she campaign SIDE BY SIDE John McCain? Why isn't she on one side of the country and John another? Simple - everyone wants to see the spunky little gal from Alaska. The more time we spend pointing out her character/cultural flaws the less time there is to focus on the issues facing Americans.

Point out her lies and record - tie her to George Bush and the extremist republican platform for sure but make no mistake the republicans WANT this to be about this spunky little girl from the far north. They DO NOT want this to be about John McCain, George Bush, and the issues because if ti is they know they will lose.

This election can't be about small things - it needs to be about big issues.
