Every spring he would crush the hopes of my beloved Knicks with some fourth quarter heroics that were just insane. Senator Obama reminds me of that guy, he'll let you stay close and then blow you out with that killer, assassin smile.

1. I said more or less the same thing to a friend
tonight. She has decided that Obama is going to lose, even though she just gave him more money this weekend. I think of it in sonic terms, though: Obama reaches crescendos at the right times, as he did in Iowa. The last 30 days, we will see him build and build.

He cost our Knicks a couple of rings and tainted Ewings legacy, Ewing got better every year until he got old.

I grew up playing against a guy from my hometown who went to UNC Wilmington on full scholarship, he was a couple of years older than Jordan and played in a gym with him every week, what he told me is that when Jordan signed with UNC that he started coming to the gym in a new Trans-Am, pretty sure it was a Trans-Am, but you get the picture.
