Both ridiculed "community organizers" and Rudy didn't even know what they are!

I just happened to stumble across this today:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/fbci/

YES! That's right, a link to the official bush White House website:

"President George W. Bush listens as Edith Espinoza, Administrative Assistant, Chicano Federation, introduces him at the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives National Conference Thursday, June 26, 2008, in Washington, D.C. The President opens his remarks, "How beautiful was that? From being a homeless mother of two to introducing the President of the United States. There has to be a higher power. I love being with members of the armies of compassion, foot soldiers in helping make America a more hopeful place. Every day you mend broken hearts with love. You mend broken lives with hope. And you mend broken communities with countless acts of extraordinary kindness."

VA Secretary Peake Keynotes at July FBCI Roundtable

On July 22, 2008, the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) convened a Compassion in Action policy roundtable titled, “Serving Those Who Have Served: The Vital Role of Faith-Based and Community Organizations.” Hosted by OFBCI Director Jay Hein, the roundtable highlighted the important work of local nonprofits working to address the challenges of men and women who have served our Nation in uniform and explored ways to further expand partnerships with these organizations. U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs James B. Peake keynoted the event, and highlighted ways the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) engages America’s faith-based and community organizations and volunteers to more effectively meet the needs of America’s 24 million veterans and their families.

President Bush to Spotlight Success of Faith-Based and Community Initiative at National Conference

On June 26, President George W. Bush delivered remarks at the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) "Innovations in Effective Compassion National Conference" in Washington, D.C.

Joined by members of the President's Cabinet, OFBCI Director Jay Hein and more than 1,000 public- and private-sector leaders, the Conference will explore and expand the ways the Faith-Based and Community Initiative is transforming government's approach to human need, in partnership with faith-based and community organizations, to solve problems from addiction and homelessness to malaria and HIV/AIDS.

Governor to Honor Outstanding Volunteers in Alaska

February 13, 2007, Juneau, Alaska - Governor Sarah Palin invites all Alaskans to help recognize their fellow citizens who have shown extraordinary volunteer service, by nominating them for her Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Awards. The nomination forms, due by March 23, 2007, are available on the Governor’s website (www.gov.state.ak.us ), at the capitol in Juneau, or at the Governor’s regional offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, and Wasilla.

The awards committee, chaired by the Governor’s mother, Sally Heath, will award those volunteers who engage in unpaid volunteer activities within the State of Alaska, demonstrate personal commitment to long-term volunteer service, and have made a significant impact benefiting Alaska.

The winners will be honored at a luncheon which will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, April 23, 2007, at 11:30 a.m., in conjunction with the Alaska Statewide Community Service & Faith-Based Summit, April 23-24, 2007.

The summit is presented by the Alaska State Community Service Commission and the Alaska Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Nominations must be hand-delivered or postmarked no later than March 23, 2007, at 5:00 p.m.

7. Please.
That website is talking about community organizations, not community organizers! Community organizers are commies, but community organizations are faith-based initiatives. Can't you dang libruls understand the difference?

:sarcasm: obviously.
