Ron Paul's Major Announcement? Could it be an Obama Endorsement?
He has come out in support of Obama's foreign policies, and in openly hostile towards the Repubs and Mcpow.

Could his announcement be his endorsement of Obama?

1. No, he'd be more likely to endorse Bob Barr. He said so himself.

Or maybe he's going to announce that he and The Illinois Nazis have caught The Blues Brothers.

2. Word is he'll be the joint Libertarian and Constitution party candidate
Which hopefully will syphon off voters from McCain.

8. Would Barr step aside, or be the running mate?
Has Barr picked a running mate?

3. I doubt it - they're opposed on so many issues.
Plus, I'm not sure how it would reflect on us, although I'd sure like to get some of his supporters.

Is he going to make a major announcement? When?

10. It wouldn't get much more major than that, then.
Anyway, I hope Paul continues to be a thorn in the goppers side.

15. Oh, I'm sure I could come up with even wilder fantasies that would look "major".
But they would still be fantasies, akin to the fantasy that Ron Paul would ever endorse Obama.

Sorry, but I've been paying attention to Ron Paul and his political philosophy for the past 7 years, after he first came up on my radar right after 9/11. He will NOT endorse Obama. I'll bet a $10 donation to DU for an unstarred poster of your choice on it.

12. I think
Paul will be forming some sort of 'coalition' or watch-dog group based on the interest he got from the campaign. It'd be a big thorn in the side of the 'modern' R, as Paul basically scares the shit out of those whackos.
