It's obvious the current strategy by the GOP is to keep Palin under wraps, away from the press, until her handlers have a chance to prep her for a handful of carefully selected softball interviews just before the election. She's smart enough to absorb enough coaching that she will come across as successful and exceeding expectations, and the GOP will declare her ready to be VP. We aren't going to win at the gotcha game because she is just smart enough, will be too well prepped and will only do softball interviews with our usually lousy media. We aren't going to bring her down by trying to expose her as not ready for prime time. We have to use her existing record and point out the obvious, that she is an extreme right wing Republican who is out of step with main stream America. Her ultra conservative social and political views should be enough to derail her candidacy. We need to focus on these to convince voters that she is not mainstream enough for election. America is not ready for a candidate who is as far right as Palin.
