Brokaw started with videos, then a Delaware newspaper, then various statements, bringing up Biden's son, and Biden patiently waited to respond and he responded very well. This was all about lobbyists. After Biden's answer, Brokaw still didn't give up. He had to followup and Biden clearly and strongly knocked down his RW talking points.

In my opinion Biden made Brokaw look like a jerk.
I'm not a big fan of these talking head programs but I still think Keith O should be given a shot at hosting MTP

He said some stupid crap about Oprah not wanting Palin on her show. Then he said will that decision be considered elitist (sp?)? My mom and I looked at each other as if to say, "What the hell?" LOL My mom said they just want to twist everything. LOL

13. Brokaw seemed disorganized and even a little nervous

Sounds crazy with all of his years in news, but I just felt like he was thinking he was not Russert. For example, Russert would hit politicians with a particular past quote or article or whatever. When Brokaw attempted to do this he droned on for 2 minutes with a whole bunch of stuff for Biden to respond to, it was ridiculous. I thought Biden did well, but I did groan when he mentioned our "sons" in the war. Biden closed it great though, very strong final statement.

I read about the Oprah question asked by Brokaw on DU first, since MTP wasn't on here yet, but just saw it and I CAN'T believe (though actually...I can believe, since Brokaw is such a jack ass) that Brokaw quoted fucking The NY POST in the "Oprah doesn't want Palin!" story and used it as proof that Democrats are "afraid" of Palin! Biden looked pretty amused at that question too.
