What happened to Meet the Press? It's awdul!
One of the first questions that Brokaw asks Biden is his reponse to the very, very important issue of Oprah not booking Palin as a guest on her program.

This is just crap. Embarrassing crap.

2. SOMEHOW ...
A candidate who is so weak, he can't even get her booked on his show, and he he managed to advance the republican creation of how much of a FORCE Sarah Palin is.

12. I Don't Know
Who would have thought taking an obscure governor from a small state who we never heard about before would have this kind of effect?

3. As much as tim russert would drive us crazy....
by not asking follow-up questions to the rethugs at least he asked the questions...Brokaw is worse in every way and he does not have the facts with him...

8. I agree
The media REALLLY stretched Tim Russert's "objectivity" rep when he passed away, but I found him to be much better than Tom Brokaw....Meet the Press is just unwatchable to me now.

6. Meet the Press
went down the crapper around the time of the Monica Lewinsky debacle. Up to that point I used to watch every week. I haven't watched since. How long ago was that? 10 years?

10. What else can one expect?
They offered one day and 2 nights of critical reporting (on the least viewed TV days/nights of a week - Friday night and Saturday) and now they are back to their nonsense Sunday.

before show time.

13. oh yeah, and why is Tom Brokaw acting like Palin would even accept an interview on Oprah???
The campaign has made it clear that they will keep her as one of the people under the stairs, accept for possibly the inevitable easy street Fox interview that will come eventually...softball Oprah would be too "hard hitting" for St Sarah.

14. Easy answer. Tom, isn't that a question best directed for Oprah. I'm focused on their pressing
issues facing middle class America, rising gas and food prices, home foreclosures, and rising unemployment.

Anyone know his political leanings? It's long past time to have rotating hosts on MTP at least this way Keith would get a well deserved shot

16. It's Brokaw. He's a simple-minded tool.
He read the news off a teleprompter for a few years and wrote a lame book and someone seems to think that makes him a pundit! Yeah, and Barbie's a foreign-policy expert because she lives near Russia.

19. I've learned more about Brokaw
since he left nightly news than I ever wanted to know. Has he always been combat ready? I know he has a speech impediment and certainly do not think less of him because of that, but it seems the older he gets he is more mushmouth than ever before, especially when he is asking stupid questions. I didn't like Russert and now I am liking Brokaw even less.
