CNN is already playing Palin v. Biden debate as "David v. Goliath"
No matter how she does, the MSM will proclaim her as a winner.

5. No, I Don't Think So.
She's a mean, vindictive, stupid child. It will be very obvious. The thing is for Biden to keep his cool and professional demeanor--just as Obama does. Being the adult will make the contrast so clear that even a Freeper will see the dissonance.

6. it's all about lowering expectations
A tried and true GOP tactic because they have no substance, all style. They don't run on policy, they run on slogans, so having to explain it in a debate isn't the best venue. But like Gore and Bush in 2000, the expectations were so low that even though Bush never won a debate point he essentially won the debate because expectations were so low. By just showing up and not dribbling and drooling all over herself like a fool, she'll get good reviews.

9. Yep. And you KNOW they are going to give her one zinger to use on Biden. Bank on it.
They want one zinger that can be replayed over and over on all the channels.

10. I'm not so sure. The msm seems to be having some problems with the attitude of the mcCain camp
re: Palin not answering questions. If she hasn't by then, and dodges tough questions during the debate, I think they will turn on her.

14. Gwen Ifill's doing the vice presidential debate
and of the three sets of questions I posted above, she's the toughest questioner.

She does NOT hold back.

Also, note well, Biden was running for president, so he's been preparing for this debate for at least a year, on top of his time in the senate.

16. If Hillary had be Obama's pick for VP, and if Rudy or Mitt had been McAss's
I wonder if the right wing media would be taking the position that they would be between a rock and a hard place as to whether to be tough with her or not.
