I think about September 11th probably everdyay. For me, it is the epitome of the nightmare that I want to awaken from.

Corrupt incompetence that allowed my fellow Americans to be murdered.

The use of that grief and anger to fuel a war that had nothing to do with that day and continues this moment with my fellow Americans (and other innocents that had nothing to do with that day) being killed.

And even if this adminstration was innocent of this crime, I would still want a regime change. It's why marriages end over the death of a child.

I want a new day, one that doesn't have these people's hideous mugs to remind me of their failure and the very horribleness of that day that they have done nothing to heal or salve that wound but only and always to inflame it again and again. In my world and the rest.
