Palin left her small town millions of dollars in debt.
This is something that we need to spread around, because a lot of people don't know it. My boss was saying that, although she herself is a Democrat and supports Obama, the one thing that impresses her about Palin is her management experience.

Palin's management experience is one of destroying the economy of a small town, graft, and corruption. We need to get the word out.

2. A town that size should not have anywhere close to that much debt
She was doing some serious mismanagement.

5. Alaska is running a huge surplus due to oil prices!
Palin left her town with tens of millions in debt because she insisted on borrowing tens of millions to build a sport complex on land the town doesn't even own.

7. The bond-issue referendum was also important.
It passed muster with the voters.

"Didn't even own" is correct; reports are they got title to it not long after ground breaking.

It'll be paid off before the 2012 electionsl; 2011, they hope. A new ballot measure for this fall is for $20 million--the same as the bond measure under discussion--for a new library.

They announced Palin; 2 hours later I was at the Wasilla website, reviewing budgets and the like.

8. My understanding is that the land's ownership is still in question - still tied up in the courts.
