Are Adam Kokesh and Code Pink covert operatives?
I ask this in seriousness. The right has this stealth commando mode and they are seriously into false flag operations as a modus operandi

Here is what I believe we have seen orchestrated:

1. the majority of the attacks on Palin; these were generated by the right as fodder for her victim status.

2. the USA USA USA chanting our of Kokesh and Code Pink at the convention. it seemed like it was part of what was authored. The intention I believe was to show that the those who oppose the war are both rude and out of control.

It fit perfectly into his dialog about the spirit of bi-partisanship at that moment. I really think it was scripted.

These people are not exactly unidentifiable. the GOP knew who was in the hall, believe me.

So was this LIHOP or MIHOP?

Code Pink is well know to all and I am sure there are members on here. But the whole concept is exactly what the right would like to paint antiwarriors as - "pink". So someone can chime in here and say - "I am IN code pink, and we are, in fact, genuine". Kokesh seems genuine. Seems like too much effort invested by the people over too long of a time for them to be plants.

So was it LIHOP? Or was McCain ad libbing the heckler stuff? I have seen enough orchestrated stuff over the years to call it right out.

3. I know some code pinks that go to my gym. They are anti-war and
are not into violence. This is their purpose, to be anti-war. They don't belong to the Democratic Party necessarily but they certainly are not neo-cons and lean very left in their thinking.

4. This is a ridiculous question . . . just because CP isn't willing to shut up and take it anymore
the way most of the rest of us do doesn't mean they're playing ball with the other side. Code Pinkers put themselves on the line far more than most people would ever contemplate.

7. with regards to
(2. the USA USA USA chanting our of Kokesh and Code Pink at the convention. it seemed like it was part of what was authored. The intention I believe was to show that the those who oppose the war are both rude and out of control.)

I am not that familiar with code pink or the other that you mentioned.

What I did notice in the video last night is that they let the lady walk quite far down the isle before they took her out. It seemed odd to me at the time it happened. So as far as code pink I am not even sure she was code pink, but dressed to appear to be. McCain's response was also to quick and sarcastic..........seemed planned to me as well.

Compared to the previous night when a supposedly "code pink"..... seemed real.and they did not let her get far at all

i am going to look for some video of it.

if repubs wil make up funerals of and use actors as veterans "for show".........they'll do anything

10. They may have been waiting for her to get out of a camera angle.

When they finally went after her, they clamped a hand on her mouth. It was bad.

And that vet is well known in activist circles. Google him. :)

ETA: See post #5 for that photo.

9. Was that Kokesh heckling McCain last night?
Kokesh is no false-flagger. He's been on our side for a long time.

13. A letter from Code Pink about RNC incident - Medea Benjamin has a long history of activism
http://codepink.org/

I got this forwarded to my email:

On Thursday night, as John McCain made his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, two CODEPINK women-Liz Hourican and Nancy Mancias-interrupted his speech by calling for an end to the occupation of Iraq. The previous evening, CODEPINK co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans were dragged from the Republican National Convention after disrupting Sarah Palin's speech.

Both CODEPINK teams were shocked by the magnitude of sheer, raw, hatred channeled in their direction. Even before they stood up to say "Palin is Not a Woman's Choice", they felt great animosity emanating from the hall; they felt it in the delegates' chanting of "Drill, Baby Drill" from the floor, and in the vicious rhetoric of the speeches on stage. And of course all of us in St. Paul felt the threat of brutality on the streets as we faced row upon row of police in full riot gear and watched police raid non-violent peace gatherings. Four CODEPINKers were arrested at the RNC, as were hundreds of other protestors, many of whom are still in custody (or whose belongings have not been returned upon release.)

You can provide solidarity and support for those arrested by contacting the Mayor of Minneapolis, R.T. Rybak, by phone (612-673-2100) or email (c/o helen.simrill@ci.minneoplis.mnuf) and the Mayor of St. Paul, Chris Coleman (651-266-8510) to demand the release of detained protestors and their belongings, and the dismissal of all charges against peaceful protesters. Your calls and emails will help keep the voice of protest alive.

The Republican Party may tout itself as "Pro-Life", but it clearly promotes violence against both people and nature. How can you call yourself Pro-Life when you destroy our natural resources and send our children off to die in an unjust, illegal war? How can you speak about being Pro-Life when a US-led air strike killed dozens of innocent children in Afghanistan this week?

Our Pro-Life parade in St. Paul was a beautiful demonstration of how we can only truly call ourselves pro-life when we work to protect our planet, promote peace, and make sure everyone has access to good health care, education, and other basic human needs (including reproductive choice!)

All over the RNC, we worked to reclaim the phrase "pro-life" and bring our message of peace--Medea Benjamin even disrupted a Phyllis Schlafly "Life of the Party" talk with a sign reading "Be Pro-Life--Stop War!" To see CODEPINK in action at the RNC, be sure to visit our Flickr page and read our blogs at our brand new Pink Tank.

With love for life on this gorgeous planet,
Alicia, Anne, Dana, Deidra, Desiree, Farida, Gael, Gayle, Jean, Jodie, Liz, Lori, Medea, Nancy, Rae and Tighe

p.s. Sarah Palin may deride grassroots action, but we know that change can only come when the people of the country band together to demand it. Let's use the occasion of this election to grow our activist community--join us to knock on One Million Doors this September 20th. We have less than three weeks-we need your energy now!

14. no.
Wait, let me be more precise: FUCK NO.

It is when the unscripted spills out of the boob toob that things start to fall apart. They do not want a narrative that includes dissent. They certainly did not want a sign such as YOU CANNOT WIN AN OCCUPATION playing to 40,000,000 viewers. That concept is not even on their discussion list. It is forbidden.

They control the narrative and they have one rule: keep it simple. It is our fearless non-violent radicals, those of us who dare to do what these brave men and women did at the RNC, who break down the mind control system.

When they do a false flag operation they do not waste it on speaking truth to power. They have idiots plotting to walk from miami to chicago to blow up buildings with no particular resouces at their disposal instead. They wanted a seamless Three Day Hate, and a game changing Coronation of the Gidget. Code Pink and Veterans Agains the War do not fit into the show they were putting on.

16. This is the silliest question I have ever read on this forum.
I am a founding member of a CodePink chapter, I know Adam and many other IVAW members, and what you are suggesting is not only insulting to all of us, it's absolutely ridiculous.

And by the way, just so you know, the CPers who got into the speeches had passes that were given to them by folks who were leaving before the speeches began. They didn't sneak in, they were allowed in, and they were not arrested because what they did was not against the law.
