Now, if someone told me a month or so ago, John McCain's VP pick would be immersed in ON-GOING SCANDALS with OPEN INVESTIGATIONS...

AND, the candidate would be NOT vetted by the campaign (apparently, at ALL)...

AND, the candidate would be shrill of voice and snarly of personality...

AND, so inexperienced that Republican commentators, themselves, would be aghast...

AND, they would offend the majority of women in this country and push the PUMAS back to Obama...

AND, the candidate is on the verge of having a marital affair exposed by the National Enquirer, one week after the convention...

AND, the candidate would so offend democrats that the pick would result in higher donations for the Dems then the Republicans
after the grand unveiling speech...

AND, questioning the said candidate would be so tenuous that John McCain would have to cancel a MAJOR pro-republican cable news channel interview to avoid having to answer any questions about the new VP pic...

AND, the candidate would have to be SEQUESTERED into hiding right after the convention and not allowed ANY media interviews because it is such a liability to the campaign to have their new choice answer any questions...

Why, I would have said, NO WAY. Never going to happen. John McCain is a pathetic, mean-spirited, and incompetent old has-been leech, but he isn't THAT stupid.

Oh, WAIT. HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:yourock: - Jonh McCain!!!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We couldn't have IMAGINED a better pick to help OBAMA WIN IN 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I guess we will have to wait until next for people to have it sink in -

I know people on these boards are worried with all the spin, and hype. THAT is the MSM.

Take heart, guys.

2. You're so right.
Sometimes we get trapped in the hype but once we step back and look at things, some things become apparent. For instance, I've learned beyond a shadow of a doubt that the rumors of McCain being a big gambler are true. Look at how he runs his campaign; no one that wants to win (especially so close to the showdown on 11/4) would make such a hasty choice. But, the 'Maverick' did and for that I'm grateful.
