Or if she won't talk to the press at all.

This is what another DU'er said, and I believe we should email this thought far and wide, esp. to people like Jack Cafferty.

How can she do America's business if the thought of an interview cows her? (She can't.)

Not ready for Primetime.

3. It's pathetic.
They are so scared of the press. How can either of lead the country if a freaking interview makes them pee their pants?

5. I find it shocking that they think hiding from interviews is acceptable in a VP candidate.

6. And what will they do in any other adverse situation? Hide? Like Bush
did on 9/11?

I've had it with these wussies.

8. If this candidate cannot handle a few tough questions from the press,
then any reasonable person should have serious doubts about her ability to handle the job of VP at all.

7. Thanks and agreed!
I was hoping someone would pick the idea up and start a thread. I didn't feel like starting one. I'm not much on starting threads.

Right now, she is nothing but a model reading script for TV commercials, promoting the PRODUCT known as the McCain ticket.

Unless they subject her to heavy critical interviewing, she should be called what she is: a spokesmodel.

11. The GOP has a lot of gall to hold her back and excpect the
country to vote for someone they don't know if the person can walk and chew gum at the same time. The Rove tactics won't work this time around. If McCain dropped dead his first month in office, the public has no idea what she thinks about issues. We haven't really heard what McCain's stance is on issues. He certainly didn't spell things out the way Obama did in his acceptance speech.

14. A McCain Spokeswoman; just like we have WH Spokeswoman.

At least Dana Perrino takes questions from the media. Palin will never be able to do the job. They think they can get away with sheltering her though.
