I'm Looking.... Are There ANY MINORITIES at the RNC Convention?
I was just wondering how big the 'big tent' of the Republican Party has grown.

I guess not very much by watching the tv coverage of the RNC delegates.

1. I watched some of the RNC
over the last few days, flipping between C-Span, CNN & MSNBC. Noted a total of 5 people that were not Whiter than White. 2 on Tuesday and 3 shots last night. That was it from what I saw. Now there may have been more and I missed them, but that is what I saw.

2. Watching the replay of McCain's speech I don't see any in the crowd shots...
Isn't it strange?

Have they given up on reaching out to minorities?

3. I don't think they have given up
just not very successful in their efforts. As the economy continues to slide, people look and vote with their wallets. Ideology is a wonderful thing when you can afford it, but it's something that can be put aside when you can't.
