1. Bush Says That The War On Terror CAN'T Be Won!
Thank god Edwards is already hammering away at that, Kerry would be SMART to do the same!

11. done. 61-39. Sure, the Bush administration
would better win the war. Obviously, that's why the leader of said administration admitted that they can't!!!! Yet another said commentary on the inhabitants of our planet.

7. If the Kerry campaign were smart (and I think they can be)
they would get video of Bush's remarks and cut an ad and ask, "So Bush thinks the War on Terror is unwinnable? Isn't it time for new leadership?"

bush says we cant win the war on terror. well sir you should get out of the way then because we believe we can!

oh there are just so many great combinations that would make a powerful ad.

bush just handed the democrats the keys - now what are they going to do with them?

18. The video makes dumbya look even more stupid.
He's sprawled out on a chair, looking as though he is shooting the sh#t at the frat house boasting about his latest prank, or about how he got a C- on a plagiarized paper.

Not looking at all serious or (gasp) presidential. But then, he never looks that way, except when his handlers pose him.

This, when he is talking about war. Disgusting.

8. Well he said "smoke 'um out, get 'um runnen"
He didn't say "Kill the varmint in his hole." That would have been much quicker but it would have cost him one of the reasons (does that word apply to anything * does?) to go into Iraq.

Winning the war quickly would be much less profitable than fighting it "endlessly"

13. The Idiot Bush
The NeoCon handlers have shown their hands again. They never wanted to WIN any war. Their goal is and always has been to perpetually be at war. Why? FOR THE MONEY. How long is it going to be before the American public wakes up to the cancer that is infecting the American Government and throws the NeoCons into jail? The same fools who didn't want us to win Vietnam don't want us to win Iraq. They also want us to expand the fight to include Iran then Lebanon and Syria.
I am not sure we can wait for November why not Impeach them NOW?

16. It's so frustrating
I agree.

I can't take it anymore!!!!! If Kerry doesn't beat Bush over the head with this statement, and his admitting that he made mistakes on the Iraq war, he doesn't desreve to win.

Take off the gloves, throw out the focus groups and take Bush to tas.

Our guy uses the word "sensative" and gets beat over the head with it for a week. Bush all but admits to causing the unnecessary deaths of soldiers and he'll get away with it.

15. Here's the link:
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/ap/20040830/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_bush

When asked "Can we win?" the war on terror, Bush said, "I don't think you can win it. But I think you can create conditions so that the — those who use terror as a tool are — less acceptable in parts of the world."

Nonetheless, Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards (news - web sites) seized on the comment.

"After months of listening to the Republicans base their campaign on their singular ability to win the war on terror, the president now says we can't win the war on terrorism," the North Carolina senator said. "This is no time to declare defeat."

HEE HEE.

19. The freeped poll in the link favors the Bush criminals. What a bunch of
dumbasses. They just get done reading a story about their Chimperor having clay feet, but the string along with him anyway.

Rove has convinced the Bushbots that "My Pet Goat" is a civil defense manual.

21. Yep
If this is some sort of Bush campaign strategy, you sure got me. Sounds like Bush once again made a massive mistake. First he stakes his entire presidency on being a "war president" and talks about it non-stop for the past three years (not to mention illegally invading Iraq), and now he says he can't win it!?! What the hell is he thinking?! That's one hell of an admission, folks, and we should exploit it for all it's worth. Kerry needs to pound him on this starting RIGHT NOW!
