Turn off your TV now.
Yeah, I know, insanity isn't contagious, but you never know.

You can read about it online tomorrow, but watching these lunatics can be dangerous to your mental health. Not to mention the possibility that you might just go over the edge and throw your TV set out the window.

As for me, I'm going to watch a movie, wake up in the morning, and hope that the last four days and the last eight years have just been a terrible nightmare.

Unfortunately, it isn't a nightmare. The last four days and the last eight years really happened.

Oh, well. As I was told a long time ago, "It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black."

But turn off your TV anyway. You'll sleep better.

5. Nah, I'm watching football.
I like football and TV is the only way I can see it, except for HS and local colleges. So I'll watch TV, but not that one thing that's on. Some convention or something.

9. Great minds think alike.
I've already turned mine off. Oddly enough, I can think of a few other things to do besides watching McSame and trying to make a drinking game out of his most oft-repeated phrases.

The best option is probably to go to bed early. Like many of you, I've been staying up much to late the last couple of weeks watching convention coverage.

12. I'm gonna read a book. My son and my husband INSIST on
watching this crap but I can't do it. OTOH, since there's a game on maybe my husband will want to watch that. My son isn't into football, being a lacrosse goalie, so they'll have to fight it out.

But I have a new Jeffrey Deaver book to read.

I read your post very quickly and the first time through, I thought you said you were going to read a Jeffrey Dahmer book. I picked up on Deaver the second time around.
