"We, John Kerry and I, can win the war on terrorism, George Bush can't."

Just saw clip on CNN.

Hammer that home (Bush's can't win quote) and take the issue away from him. Then what else can Bush run on?

I'm dead serious. They studied Kerry and saw he built everything around "the Viet Nam/Vet" issue and then they kicked the centerpiece out from under him with the boat ads. Their WHOLE centerpiece is "terror" because Bush can't go near economy/jobs/healthcare/Iraq, etc. So the idea was to find a way to smash their centerpiece. THIS IS THE OPENING WE NEEDED AND IF KERRY DOESN'T PLAY THIS TO DEATH HIS CAMPAIGN NEEDS A KICK IN THE HEAD!!!! This is the headline that replaces the swiftbastards. Oh, and Bloomberg had a stat on from the Gallup poll about two hours ago that said that 61% of the people do NOT believe that we have avoided a terrorist attack since 9/11 because of something Bush has done to protect us---only 31% think he is the 'big man' fending off the terrorists! just a little while ago. Of course, they were defending Bush's statements as being "sensible" or some such garbage.
