Discussion I just over-heard in the community room of 55 & over apartment bldg.

I don't usually hang out in the community room much, because there are so many RW idiot Fox-watchers spouting
utter nonsense that I can't handle the toxicity and vacuousness of the conversations. But today was different...

... today I had to be there briefly (for some business with a staff person) and over-heard these same people
saying stuff like "did you hear? Palin said 'God wants US to stay in Iraq'" (much laughter) .... then some other
guy says "I sure hope Biden tears her apart" ... I couldn't believe my freaking ears.

I couldn't resist sharing this with y'all. :hi:

3. I swear, I had to look and see where you were from because I'm

having a very similar situation here on the "patio" in Florida. We don't discuss hurricanes all of the time, just what foods low in sodium and cholesterol to get for a few days...LOL. Anyway, so many Fox watchers and repugs, I rarely enter the conversations. Once in a while I'll state a fact, really newsworthy I just know they're not getting on Fox and they look at me like I'm from another world. A few days later when this is news in the msm, they listen more closely to what I'm telling them. I told them all to get a computer fergodsake and not be LIVs. They didn't know what that meant either. When I told them some were insulted. Made me feel sooo good. They really don't like being challenged and think Orily is gawd.. They wouldn't believe me Barack was going to be on the show, just shocked I tell ya!
