A progressive Alaska radio talk show host was on Randi today, and she said that the AIP is widely considered as a fringe group, and nobody takes them very seriously.

Randi asked why Palin addressed their conference, and the host said she (Palin) always sucked up to everybody in an effort to be popular and well liked (and get their votes).

I'M JUST THE MESSENGER --

But if she's accurate in her appraisal of the group, then maybe it's not really worth the effort of pursing as ammo against Palin and her husband.
