For a woman who grew up with money, Cindy McCain makes some odd clothing choices. A lot of them look like they come from this book. Now I appreciate retro as much as the next person, but she comes across to me as trying too hard to look like a typical suburban housewife circa 1960 (when the world was wonderful, children did what they were told, minorities kept in their place and Republicans were in charge - for awhile), but never met a real one.
