yesterday it was 49-43, Obama

Of course they will caution that this was before Palin's speech.

2. Big fuckin deal. It's got two days of the RNC in it.
If Palin's speech and McCain's speech fail to change these numbers, though, it means he's fucking doomed.

3. Still good news. It means that Thompson/Lieberman's speech didn't resonate with undecideds
Palin will swing a few, I believe, but really despite the much harsher tone of last night's speeches, nothing really different, content-wise was said.

6. I think the Undecideds will break much harder for Obama now
Another Gallup poll released shows Undecideds down recently, 9%. 6% go to Obama. 3% go to McCain.

I think post-Palin we may see a harder break of Undecideds for Obama. They are pandering totally to the nutjob base, and it will not help them with the undecideds, who are the crucial voters to get here.
