Palin: Drill because of US jobs. Has she read their platform???
Did she really try to make that connection? Apparently her best skill is as a contortionist. The Repub platform is against any clauses related to labor in trade agreements. They are against unions and card check. They are against removing tax breaks for corporations that ship jobs overseas. They are against subsidies for green businesses. Their jobs policy is pretty much to keep labor as cheap as possible even if it means overseas sweat shops.

Apparently she hasn't seen the news where an oil companies were recently caught using foreign labor for their offshore rigs at 20% of the wages. Yeah right, MS. Palindrone, that will bring the jobs here. Maybe she's trying to help her husband's job at British Petroleum.
