Biden Hits Back!
I just heard a soundbite on the radio:

to paraphrase, about the Palin speech, he said "I didn't hear anything about health care, I didn't hear anything about the middle class, I didn't hear anything about debt ..."

1. and that's what all Democrats including ourselves should be saying
let them praise her for being able to give a speech. don't argue on that.

but bring up those things, what matters.

5. I watched the speech and was not impressed.
Seriously, I didn't see anything spectacular about her public speaking skills. I almost wondered if she might have been pretending to be dull and uninspiring so Biden would underestimate her. Keeping her powder dry till the debate, you know?

The speech was written for her, and all she did was wag her finger like some bespectacled fundie school-marm.

Not impressed at all.

7. i didn't either, it sounded phony, but i'm just saying it's not worth debating
sometimes. it's better to just say what biden did about them not disccussing the issues.

but yeah, i thought she sounded very scripted. you know she didn't write any of it. she was out of the public eye for 3 days just to work on that.

2. That's definitely what they will drive home..
Obama's senior advisor was on LK last night, and he said the same thing.

He did a great job as always.

6. No one heard anything but a nasally, whiny-voiced woman with big hair insulting...
...Barack Obama.

8. I like it, but he's really got to punch her in the gut with something that makes you go, "oh snap."

9. That's exactly my reaction.
I heard someone say it was political theater, and it had nasty attacks on Obama and the whole blame the media thing, but nothing about what average Americans are dealing with.

10. he was great on GMA this morning!
He was complimentary of Palin, but made his point about them being wrong for Americans. I loved it when he said, "I'm feel bad for Barack since nothing she said is true, I'm just glad they didn't say anything about me." Robin said, "you must have missed that part of the speech." He paused and laughed, "oh, they did." It was so off the cuff and real.

I have so much respect for this man. I'm so glad he's our veep.:D

11. She blew it
What she had going for her was she looked like a nice, pretty, average Mom that you'd like to have a mooseberger with. Instead she revealed herself to be "a pitbull with lipstick".
