Should Sarah Palin be at the top of the ticket, and McCain her VP?

I mean, she's so gosh-darned eloquent and hard-hitting and change-making, and all.

While it's been pretty well documented that McCain has lost his touch, his skills are out of date and his energy is sagging.

Maybe they should flip the ticket.

Seriously, has anyone posed this question to the campaign? Are the pundits filling up air time exploring every facet of this intriguing possibility?

I think they should be. The voters have already rejected John McCain, because they recognize that he no longer has what it takes to be president. But, by many accounts, they're just in awe of Palin.

So what do you say, MSM and assorted infotainers? Isn't it time to get this conversation started?

1.  Maybe the Republican slogan should be: "Don't worry. He's old and he'll die soon."

3. OMFG! That's so mean because...

... it's so disturbingly true!

And isn't that exactly the sub-text of the GOP and pseudopundit spin we're getting now? "Palin has brought so much life/vigor/energy to the ticket." Don't they realize that, in saying that, they're also admitting McCain is washed up?

The GOP still has its same old bag of tricks, but I think they've lost their touch as political magicians. The McCain campaign is a mess, it really is.

4. It is a mess. A big, dripping slimy mess.
If it weren't for the fact that they know how to steal elections, I would say it's nothing but guilty pleasure watching their horror show.

5. I dare them to poll Republicans on McCain vs. Palin
Palin would beat him. Which just about says it all.
