Minneapolis Police pull the plug on Rage Against The Machine protest
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 04:46 AM by JohnnyRingo
They cut power to the amplifiers, but the band didn't let them rob them of their basic rights. They grabbed bullhorns and went acapella.

The band had a legal concert scheduled in the Target Center last night. The police waited in large numbers outside when the event let out, anticipating trouble. Apparently that trouble arrived in the form of free speech.

Some very spirited nsfw comments between the verses.

On an interesting note, here's what happened in Europe earlier this week when the police tried to beat an errant soccer fan on the field:

They got their asses kicked.

Freedom, indeed, is no longer free.

1. wow , thanks for this
I'd wondered how that went. With all the ridiculous crackdowns I'd wondered if they'd even be let into town.
