Am I alone in thinking the real story of the night was Giuliani?

Sure, Palin's big introduction was important, but the bar was low and she was - technically - pretty effective.

But Giuliani? What the hell was that? It was like being locked in a small room with Fred Phelps on the day that the Pride march goes through town. Oy. I'd be curious to know how many people saw the speech, and how it polled with the SANE members of the audience.

2. I thought he was incredibly vitriolic, mean spirited, and crude

He also scared me. I know he supercharged my Limbow listening co-workers, They'll come in to work tomorrow all glowing.

At least he made Palin look boring.

Giuliani spewed hate in that speech.

It was just about as ugly as it could have been.

I always expect very little from him, but after that speech tonight in St. Paul, I feel he should be placed under moral arrest.

The speech was assaultive and indecent.
