Is Trig Palin ever awake?
I have yet to see signs of life in that child.

1. What kind of a name is Trig, anyway?
Why would you name a child that?

12. Evidently it's Norse for "true" or "strength"...
Her youngest is 4-month-old Trig Paxson, whose first name is Norse for "true" or "strength" and whose middle name comes from one of his mother's favorite spots in Alaska.

11. I don't expect someone like you to know a jot about it, but I have a nephew who is Downs,
and his sleep patterns, especially as an infant, matched everything I've seen on camera of Trig Palin.

You really should tread lightly in this area, or just STFU.

14. This is what Down's babies are like
I've spent a good deal of time the last few years around a Down's baby the same age as my kid - they were in playgroups together. Down's babies are quiet, and can seem non-reactive, but you get out of them what you put into them. The Down's baby I know is extremely fortunate that she has an incredible mother who spends as much time caring for her as possible, and there isn't anything she wouldn't do for that child. She spends her time educating others about Down's.

This is one of the things that pisses me off the most about Sarah Palin: how can she in good conscience run for Veep and leave that poor newborn baby in the dust when he needs so much? It's the ultimate egocentric move she is making. She would eat her young.

21. She was back at work 3 days after giving birth to somebody...
...who would NEED enormous love and compassion every single day for the rest of their life.

She really has no idea what she's getting into. That's the only rational explanation I can think of.

16. Yes, his eyes were open on the stage at the end...
I thought it was precious how the youngest daughter was spitting on her hand and fixing the babies hair. Cute kids.
