there MUST be unbiased, credible exit polling . . .
for the elections, if only in the swing states . . . the best investment of Soros' money might just be to hire Zogby to do it . . . and make sure they invite observers from each party to monitor the process . . . if they succeed in stealing it, at least we'll have some evidence to make the case . . . won't carry any legal weight, but it might convince people that their votes have been stolen . . . and jar them out of their political catatonia . . .

1. You're right, except
that Zogby is hardly the group to do it.

They should re-hire those who used to do it up to 2000.

At some point all the networks did their own exit polling, and eventually they used VNS, I think it was called, Voter News Service.

Unfortunately, the notion that VNS "got it wrong" in 2000 was put out, which of course is exactly the opposite. They got it right. Gore won the election, but it's important that most people be bamboozled into believing the other guy won.

I'm firmly convinced that some results in 2002 are highly suspicious, most notably Max Cleland's loss, but without exit polling there's no way to know for sure.
