Should we listen to the Palin speech?

I am going to boycott the live speech on cable. The reason is the Republicans are expecting big numbers so they can exploit them. They have been hyping this "introduction to this woman" although they could have presented her for an interview long before tonight. I understand she has been kept in hiding being drilled by the likes of Leiberman on foreign policy and the speech was prewritten with only the masculine portions being changed. I will watch the repeat of the speech later, when the numbers won't count.

There's plenty of time to watch it later. This isn't historical - Ferraro did this when I was 11. It's no big whoopty do.

So I refuse to watch it in real time.
