Watching 8 years of incompetence, the trashing of Gore and Kerry in 00 and 04 -

both great, intelligent, able, heroic Americans who would have made great presidents - the nonstop parade of right wing smear all over the radio and TV, the enabling media - there is a quote in The Sting where Paul Newman says that revenge is for suckers....but I have to say that I've never wanted anything to blow up in their face like this doomed McCain presidency. I am not a mean or vengeful person, but that built up, pent up rage of the last 8 years is pouring out of me and if it is the midguided, unaccomplished, woefully inexperienced Sarah Palin, or the silly, small so-called maverick puppet of the right who selected her, I don't care. And now they are tearing down two other great Americans who are poised to lead our country out of the swamp that Bush put us in.....the ignorance of these right wingers is just breathtaking. I am mad as hell, and I sure and hell CANNOT take this any more!

3. Thanks. It is affecting my sleep, my mood. My wife said tonight

that she is glad we are in our 50s and got to enjoy the life we've lived so far, because she feels like the shit is about to hit the fan big time in our country - and around the world. (not rapture-type shit, but poor leadership/selfish human being/chaos shit).
