The downside of the Palin scandals
Because they have been so many and because both the media and the nets have been chewing at them in a frenzy McSame/PHalin are going to claim that Obama went negative and they are going to fire back with all the mud and Rovian deception they can get their hands on. This election is set to turn incredibly ugly.

1. Then let's keep then on the defensive. No mercy.

2. That won't work.
Obama is running a GOOD campaign. Good like a down pillow. You can punch at it all you want, and all you get is a fluffy dent.

I mean good in the sense that he is exemplary. He's clean in every way. Like MC Hammer- Can't touch this!

3. It will never work. Once Obama seized the high ground, he'll
always have the "high ground" no matter what he does. He achieved this status by getting the media itself to focus on the question, "is he a fighter?" "Can he hit back?"

From that point on, Obama can kick McCain in the nuts, and the public will say it was fair.

He can't win on this argument. People said Obama couldn't win by playing the high road, but look at how it is paying off now.

4. They can claim it, but Obama has given them nothing to back it up.
Meanwhile, they can attack Palin's corrupt record of governance as a valid argument against putting her so close to the WH.
