This is an ugly crowd
And the more they bring faces of color up to the podium it gets even uglier

1. Did you see how the crowd got uncomfortably silent
when the Latina speaker said there will be more Hispanics in the US and that's something to celebrate?

5. I was thinking the same thing.
I feel guilty thinking it. But I see a crowd that is bored. Uncaring. Not engaged.

Chris Collins mopped up to the podium and then let out an audible sign. It was a perfect summation of the scene.

Flash back to our convention. Lightening. Every eye trained and focused with intention.

God I just can't see what Americans see and don't see. In politics. In music. In sports. In food. I don't really belong here. But here I am. And I exaggerate. There are many great Americans. You, for example.

6. Has Cowboy Troy been up on the stage yet?
I heard that he was going to help sing the National Anthem.
