Sarah Palin must be given scrutiny if she becomes the Republican vice presidential candidate. Sarah Palin would be one heartbeat away from becoming President of the United States should John McCain win the presidential election this November. Her fitness for the job is of vital concern to American citizen-voters.

If Sarah Palin can't stand the heat of scrutiny, she should decline the nomination now and let McCain pick somebody else.
