Not only does this elderly, unwell man put a completely unqualified person on his ticket, he puts a zealot...a nut...a frightening extremist in the position of possibly...likely...running the country should he win.

George W. Bush only pretended to be a fundamentalist whackjob because he knew they didn't support his father and he played along to help him with his own political ambitions. I never, ever thought of Bush as a good or even marginal Christian. You could see right through him. And he's done nothing for them except throw a few coins to their pastors for faith-based programs.

But THIS person is a "true believer", a radical who would attempt to turn this into a complete theocracy where women will be breeding stock, gays will be hounded, religious minorities will be persecuted - hear that, Mitt Romney? - and which will further inflame and embolden the fundies to strike out against anyone who doesn't handle snakes in church or speak in tongues. Stem cell research? Die of your disease. Science in schools? Nope - enjoy your bible tales, kids! Family planning? Forget it! Have flocks of children like President Sarah and her kids!
