I don't like Pawlenty, but Palin is scary
Pawlenty's policies have damaged my family and the state of Minnesota. I have a child on the autism spectrum, and I know all to well how much damage his stance on taxes has done to early childhood education, our school district, and the general infrastructure of the state, i.e. the I-35 bridge. I believe that a great deal of Pawlenty's motivation was driven by his personal ambition to rise to "the next level". In short, I believe that he has hurt me and mine for personal gain.

However, Palin is a whole different kettle of fish, she is a "true believer". People like her are waiting for Jesus to come back SOON, because these are the End Times. To these folks, it's silly to worry about global warming, deforestation, or even your 401K. Jesus is coming! The good go up and the bad go down, and if you don't understand that, then you will get what you deserve! Palin represents the American equivalent of the Taliban, and to them, there is no compromise, compassion, or forgiveness. They will do what ever it takes without remorse, because they see themselves as soldiers of God. We do not want to underestimate these people, and I'm wondering if McCain fully understands what he may have unleashed.
