What gets me is that not one single republican has had the guts to stand up and state the obvious; that Palin was a very, very poor choice by McCain. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't a running mate supposed to attract voters and be a positive influence on the campaign? I'm stunned by the willingness of republicans to follow their party no matter what the consequences. Spying on Americans without a warrant? Republicans supported it without question. The biggest expansion of our government in modern times? The republicans remained silent. The invasion of Iraq? Anyone that dared to question it, oppose it, or be critical of it was called unpatriotic by republicans. The largest debt in our nation's history? The republicans have nothing to say about it, other than we should cut more taxes. I honestly believe that anyone that calls themselves a republican should be ashamed of themselves, their party and their GOP leaders.
