...And I don't mean 'limbo' as in 'purgatory', or 'between things'. I mean limbo as in the game of trying to go under the stick someone keeps lowering. I thought Nixon was bad. Reagan was bad. Bush Sr. wasn't *quite* as bad, but then W comes along and is so bad that a friend of mine says 'he almost makes me wistful for Ronnie'. And now McCain has morphed from Mr. Republican Liebermann (i.e. possibly the most moderate and maverick Republican) of 5 years ago to throwing himself at any group/position/cause that'll vote for him, and then - the epitomy of the limbo game - has now chosen Sara Palin, who almost makes *W* look good!!! She's so far-out that it's beyond belief. It's like choosing one of those survivalist militia types for VP - she seems to just about fall into that camp, or at least her husband does, and she's right there.

So every time, in the past 28 years, since the coronation of King Ronnie, I've said 'This is the worst', or 'How Low Can They Go?', they go LOWER!!! I won't even ask these questions any more.
