Is the McCain campaign madly going through Palin's church's tapes?

We've seen postings of an article about the fact that the church web site is down:

"Website with Speeches and Sermons from Palin's Former Church Shuts Down as Religious Views of Candidate Face Scrutiny"
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/website-with-sp.html

That church also specifically installed anti-robot scripting on its web site, so web archive systems like webarchive.org can't record them.

But, on a guess that they might have installed that software later, I tried peeking at the church's earliest pages. Bingo.

The author of that article is right. You can access a page that shows the titles of sermons you can buy. My personal favorite title is "Blockades on the Road to Hell" -- but Palin's favorite might be, "You Can Rule in the Midst of Your Enemies." You can choose your own favorite. Remember, this is only what they had in 2002.

I would not be surprised to find the McCain camp has suddenly figured out that they need to either permanently block access to these recordings, or hurry up and listen through all of them to avoid falling into a pastor scandal.

Funny how things work out sometimes.
