john mccain is angry, angry, angry. and he can't control it.
I saw the clip of him- barely controlled- saying that they weren't going to discuss the vetting process with the press any further. I read joe klein's incredibly revealing post about how angry, angry, angry, mccain is and how he and his staff are bullying and browbeating reporters.

john mccain is no longer a media darling. he's alienated them.

john mccain has an anger problem. we all knew it. now he's showing it.

2. He doesn't have the judgment or temperament to be President
and they know it, too. I just hope the media doesn't roll over and die, but I think they are ticked off at the McCain campaign and will keep on it.

10. Sarah Palin has an anger problem, too.
Her associates say that she can't take criticism and becomes very angry if anyone questions her authority. She sounds like the chimp. I wonder if the two of them have been going after one another. I'd like to be a fly on the wall.

TaliPalin - You told me you had $#*!&^ control of this situation! You dragged me and my family into this @#^%*& and your $%*&^ staff doesn't know $#&%*&. What the #@$% are you going to do about it???!!

McPants - You didn't #$%&*^ tell me that your $%#&% daughter was $%&*^% up!! What the #$%@#??!! And what the *&^%$(*! is going on with your %$#@^&*% son???!! Now I hear that he &*%$# up and flunked out of school and vandalized some $#@%& school bus???!! What the $%#@$??!!

...based on nothing. It shouldn't be hard to do the same to McCain, especially if he keeps pissing off and threatening members of the media.

"They" is the Mighty Slime Machine. The MSM WILL NOT do the same to McCain, because they are working to put him in the White House.

15. Not that I wish that anything bad happen to the man, but
is the theory of the Type A personality still valid - that angry people are more likely to have a heart attack?

If the McCain/Palin ticket gets nominated and if John MccIn has a stroke or hear attack, what then? Does Palin take the top of the ticket?

Edited on Wed Sep-03-08 05:36 PM by antfarm
I don't think he really wanted her in the first place. Several GOP insiders have dropped hints that McCain really wanted Lieberman and allowed himself to be talked into Palin because of the right wingers' arguments about the base.

I think he is now seething with rage at the people who pushed her to him and at himself for giving in to it all. Look for serious division and upheaval within his whole camp now.

29. enjoy while we can
We need to enjoy this while we can, because, in a few days, the MSM will remember who pays for their McMansions and limo rides and will spend 3 weeks shamelessly flacking for McCain and Failin in order to "balance the scales".

32. THAT is why the GOP has always avoided having him on a ticket...
He is the angriest man in politics! And it's NOT because of his POW experience, because there are people from his high school that say his nickname was "McNasty", because of his temper, and how he could rip someone to shreds verbally -- while others laughed.

This is what they've been afraid of.. first he had that outburst during the Time magazine interview, now he's taking on the journalists, AND he's got the church ladies at the convention calling out the journalists. The media attacks from the republican convention are the purple bandaids of 2004.

34. Didn't he throw a fit and pull out of a scheduled interview on Larry King
because a CNN reporter asked one of his surrogates a reasonable question he didn't like? (I think it was a question asking the surrogate to name just one example of her use of the Alaska National Guard).

35. I'm glad someone else is angry for a change, and he sure picked the perfect people: The press.
Bill Clinton: "Should we tell the people the real truth? That the media run the country?"

He just pissed off the wrong people. They will derail him. And they already love Obama.
