If you're going to watch Palin tonight, make sure to have the mute button at the ready. I just heard some soundbite of Palin on Randi's show and I thought I was getting attacked by castrated wombats.

2. I hate to say it, but you're right. Her speech needs to be short if she
wants people to pay attention. I've noticed that Hillary has worked on lowering the tone of her voice which I think has helped her get her message out to those who didn't want to listen before.

I can't wait to watch her make an ass out of herself. And that voice....

5. Well, not like Dean or anything
But when making a point, she often seems to be yelling.

I thought Michelle Obama's speech delivery was the best of any woman out there. She kept her voice emotional, warm, moving and yet it still had strength. Few women can project their voices like that and maintain the warmth. Hillary in particular has a hard problem with that. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, i still think Hillary is great.)

6. Hillary was a bit strident in the early part of the campaign, but...
I thought she became a VERY effective speaker by the end.

8. Sometimes she would get pretty "screamish"...
Maybe it's just me...

On that note, I like Hillary a lot more than I did a while ago...

7. Palin's voice is VERY annoying
people will tire of it after 5 minutes - if that.

10. The only thing "wrong" with Hillary's voice, I thought, was that it was female...
and, therefore, more difficult to project to a group. I thought it was really unfair that throughout the height of the Hillary hatred, every time she spoke or was in a debate, subject lines about her screaming would pop up across the Board.

In fairness, I think this could also be the case with Governor Palin. (Although I'll be snarky enough to say that the accent isn't the most pleasant I've heard.)

11. My sister and I have the same reaction to her voice - I can't take more than
about a minute of it. So if there is any masochists here who can endure the whole thing this evening please post the highlights (worst bits).
