The Reality is If the GOP decide they want Palen as VP, that is it.
The Media and the NetRoots are wasting time and energy on all these
little piddly "gotcha points regarding Palen.

The GOP have apparently decided to go back to their old strategy--
"personality wins." This worked for them with Regan and once again
with GWB. Yes GWB was very likeable. This time along with just
likeablity they are adding McCain's strength of Character. No matter
how you feel, Palen is engaging without a pretentious bone in her
body. She readlily makes people feel "she is one of them". I am
sorry to say we and the Media often look like a bunch of moralistic
pretentious snobs. Funny, this is how I used to view a lot of Republicans.

Get a grip, focus on what is important. WINNING THIS D_____ELECTION.

The GOP went through the Night and did not mention the Economy.
Thompson did say, the Democrats make people think we are in the GREAT
DEPRESSION..

The MCCAIN Camp says this election is not about issues.

We must get on issues in full-throated blitz. Do not let them throw us
off. Point out they led us down the primrose path with Regan who set
this rush to ditch in motion and GWB has landed us so deep in the ditch
it will take God knows what to dig us out. Do not let them once again
(with an engaging personality who knows how to campaign like a populist)
win the election lead us to 3rd World Status.

Everyone has to gear up and make the case for Democrats are best on the
issues and will make life better for the Middle Class and Poor.

Look the GOP do not fear the Media they just keep on keeping on.
Have you not watched GWB for the past 8 years. If they want Palen
they will keep her. We need to win an election and leave them in
the dust. Tell Obama to show that PASSION he showed at the Convention.
Do not let Palen out Populist him. Democrats have the best principles
if we just stand up for them.

1. I'm not worried, as this was ALWAYS Obama's assumption.
What has he hit McCain on?

-- making rash decisions without proper planning (the non-vetting of Palin, while always saying "it may work out" but it's not how decisions should be made)
-- that McCain will make abortion illegal
-- that he vehemently disagrees with Davis that the campaign should not be about issues, but personality

And, finally, HE is the one to come out and defend Palin's family.
