Was that the boyfriend at the airport?
Palin's daughter was holding hands with someone - it looked like the guy who's been reported is the father of her baby. If so, boy did they look awkward together . . . although the whole bunch of them look awkward.

22. Reasonable people
not the extreme right wing or the fundies & anti-choice one issue voters, I'm talking reasonable middle of the road voters, they can't possibly buy this freak show. Is this what our country is coming to, Jerry Springer? what an insult to everyone's intelligence.

Sickening. Using her pregnant daughter to gain votes from Evangelicals. She's the ultimate slimeball.

dropout, who doesn't even want kids and likes to "kick ass" according to his MySpace, in the limelight with the family is beyond stupid. If Palin had any sense at all she would have packed her kids back to Alaska and kept them out of sight for the duration. If she really wants to protect their privacy, this is a hell of a way to do it.

Imagine if this was happening at a Dem convention. Imagine the repuke talking heads exploding. We'd be hearing words like, "flaunting teenage pregnancy," "poor role models for teens," and "disgusting, immoral."
The hypocrisy here is mind-blowing.

WTF is wrong with these people?

26. Here is the REAL Levi Johnston
Here are the real pictures. The future mom and dad. http://www.stupidsheeple.com/index.php/2008090140/latest/bristol-palin-gone-wild.html

I do NOT think Sarah Palin or her family are good role models for America.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/03/earlyshow/main4409506.shtml?source=mostpop_story

The New York Daily News sheds further light on Johnston.

As the News puts it, "On his MySpace page, Johnston proudly declares: 'I'm a f---in' redneck.'

'I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing,' he says on the site.

He also warns that if anyone messes with him, 'I'll kick a$.'

The Web site, before it was removed, appeared not to have been accessed for a year.

On it, he admits to having a girlfriend.

On the part where it asks about children, he wrote, 'I don't want kids.' "

I'm surprised no one thought to give his mom a few bucks for a hairdo and some new clothes. She looks nice, but damn, I wouldn't want my mom to look like that on a national stage.

7. McCain arrives in Twin Cities, warmly greets Palin daughter and future son-in-law

McCain arrives in Twin Cities, warmly greets Palin daughter and future son-in-law

John McCain worked a very personal rope-line when he landed in Minneapolis this afternoon, my colleague Lisa Lerer reports.

All 16 members of the McCain and Palin families were waiting on the tarmac for the Republican candidate.

McCain greeted everyone, but paid special attention to Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, who he embraced with big hugs, pats on the back, and what appeared to be congratulatory wishes.

The young couple held hands throughout the apperance. Bristol now wore a ring on her finger. Levi looked like he'd cleaned up from the photos that had circulated over the past few days with a shave and a hair-cut.

McCain also paid special attention to Track, 19, the Palin's oldest son and an Army serviceman.

11. I think McCain's anger was bubbling just beneath the
surface and the kid sensed that he might be in physical danger. Can you imagine how pissed McCain is about this entire clusterfuck? He picked a wingnut with a bunch of baggage, and now he feels he's stuck. He's got to be seething.

13. They put Bristol in a coat to make her look PG. I think she looks like she had a baby 4 months ago.
I didn't see the 'baby bump'. I saw a coat that stuck out so it would look like she's pregnant. There are some shots of her with the jacket blowing open. She's wearing a belt...not comfy when you're pregnant. My guess is she had the baby 4 months ago, she's still got a belly from baby weight, and they'll announce a miscarriage soon.

16. I noticed the belt, too. What a fashion choice for
someone who's pregnant. I think she really is pregnant. But it was announced as a pregnancy of about 5 months, which could mean 4 or stretching it 3 and a half, which would mean she could have become pregnant again after having a baby in April. Siblings are frequently born less than a year apart. It's not out of the realm of possibility. I still think there are plenty of unanswered questions about Palin's ridiculous account of her infant son's birth. If the account she gave is true, then she's a complete whackjob with little concern about her own health and that of her unborn child. If it's false, the public deserves to know that the "R" VP candidate is a liar.

Why not? If this dashing young gentleman can cut a deal to suck face for a few months to make things smoother for his one-night stand girlfriend and pretend to love McCain, then why not make an example out of this glorious Iraq War and the "surge" and send him straight off to Iraq as proof of its awesomeness?
