Danger of creating a sympathetic creature....

Folks, we are in danger of creating a sympathetic creature in Sarah Palin and I would suggest that everyone take a breath and then sit back and use her for her best use and that is to combat the argument put forth earlier by the Rethugs that Obama was too inexperienced.

Her selection alone negates that argument and we should accept that and just ease up on her and her family all together or else she will become a martyr.

6. Nope...the mere picking of her simply negates the right's Obama claims..

and we should be satisfied with that, but instead, people are digging into all sorts of crap on this woman instead of directing the attention to MCCAIN/BUSH '08.

For example, as others are writing, her selection brings into question McCain's judgment (lack of vetting), it throws out the Obama is too inexperienced, it opens the door for the McCain campaign as being the same (two conservatives), corruption, anti-environment, et cetera.

Not only that, the way things are going, it won't be long before the media is labeled as sexist not only toward HRC but to ALL women.

My goodness, the Dems have been given a gift with this selection and it appears people here won't be happy unless that gift is forced to pull out (pun not intended).

Just watch, after tonight, after giving what will probably be labeled as a career making speech, this woman will slowly be turned into a right wing martyr instead of that of a great hammer we could have beat them over the head with.

9. the first interview with this woman, sexism was used. mccain just declared media not to ask about

her history. palin will not have interviews. for a decade they have declared liberal media and has as recently as this morning

10. Try another route - where does she do best?

She does best right next to McCain, does she not? Would you rather him keep her or have her forced off the ticket? She is doing the greatest damage right where she is and dragging her daughter and other silly stuff will not help. But turning her into a sympathetic figure won't help much.

have you seen the polls, have you listened to the women at all. we dont like her. we dont like mccain taking a woman that is so inappropriate for this position and expecting us to vote for her cause she is woman. we are pissed. moms are pissed that she is touted as the real thing as we see time and again she fails. all of us women are pissed. we are pissed cause what hillary did (i did not support her) was a positive for women. then ass whole women hating repug males say here fools, take her. and what the repug party has done to hurt women is HUGE by putting this woman up for us.
