2. I think he has totally boxed himself into a corner...

5. I remember Chuck Todd from about a month ago saying
That the reason that the Republicans pick this week for the convention was because it was after the Dems and just in time to get their names on the ballots for all 50 states. If she is replaced after this week her name will still be on the ballots in some states. If they don't replace her now they are stuck with her.

6. Another BIG revelation might do it.
If she continues to be a distraction and drag him down, then it might happen.

Admitting they made a mistake would be really bad, though, so they are going to continue to pretend this was a great idea for the time being.
